James has been a keen photographer since 1991. Up until recently, he has used 35mm slide film and a Canon T-90 SLR camera for his artistic photography - now he is experimenting with more modern digital techniques on a Canon 1D Mk2.

James enjoys portraiture, landscape and architecture. His experience also includes taking photos for travel groups, live performances, graduation ceremonies and weddings.

James is a member of the New Zealand Chinese Association (Canterbury Branch) and the Lions Club of Christchurch Chinese.

JOSEPH CHIA MIN KU

Joseph has been a passionate photographer since he was a young boy. He got his first camera on his 7th birthday and has enjoyed taking pictures ever since!

Joseph challenges himself to improve his photographic skills at each opportunity. He enjoys taking pictures of the simple details in life, and likes to tell stories of the little things we might easily neglect.

Joseph has been a volunteer photographer, taking many pictures for community and cultural events.
